Our annual York Sport Union Colours Ball awards dinner is the pinnacle event of the sporting year at The University of York. It is an evening to celebrate the fantastic achievements of the 65 different university sports clubs we have at York and reward the students who have dedicated their time and efforts.
The University of York is a prestigious university, reigning champions of one of the largest inter-university varsity’s in Europe, provider of Colleges Sport Leagues, with 4 Performance Pathway Clubs competing at a national level and 12 York Sport Union scholars.
This year will be the 22nd anniversary of the York Sport Union Colours Ball, with all of the key bodies in Sport in attendance. Due to recent events with Covid-19, the 2019/20 Colours Ball will be brought to you via a different approach this year. Our York Sport Union President, Maddi Cannell will be live streaming the event straight to your living rooms. We hope you will join Maddi and the Committee by getting dressed-up, but not before you have attempted cooking your own three course meal with our pre-release menu!
