About York Student Television (YSTV)
We are an award-winning student TV station managed entirely by students, for students. Based in James College, we produce a wide range of videos, films and live shows each term, ranging from documentaries and short films to coverage of big campus events or live sport broadcasts. You'll see us out and about around campus throughout the year, and there is almost always someone to come say hi to at our studio. So if you are interested in any aspect of TV production (no matter whether it is the tech, the editing, the presenting or the writing) we would love to have you join us!
Meeting Times
Besides our regular productions, we also have (virtual) weekly admin meetings every Tuesday at 7pm and production meetings the same day at 7.45pm! There, you can learn all about what we are working on at the moment and how you can get involved.
But don't worry if you can't make it to the meetings! Just shoot us an email at [email protected], tell us what you are interested in and we will tell you what productions you can come along to.
