About Psychedelic Society
Psychedelics are a cure for nothing but can be a tool for almost anything. They are a mystery we're nowhere near to understanding, despite ancient human use. There is overwhelming evidence that they have unique healing potential, by enabling connection to the self, to others, to life itself and to the mystical. Used properly, psychedelics could thus be a powerful tool for the biggest crises of our times, from mental health, tribalism, and the environment, to a lack of meaning. Working from a foundation of safety and harm reduction, the Psychedelic Society provides a space for multidisciplinary research and discussion about one of the most extraordinary things we know of.
We are an academic society interested in the nature of psychedelics; we don't support recreational or experimental use, and we don't want to minimise the risks.
Tuesday evenings, every 1-2 weeks
The society is open to everyone and has a highly multidisciplinary and commmunity-based approach. We welcome anyone with curiosity, wonder and an open mind.
