Welcome to Physsoc! We are the physics society at UoY run by students for any students who have an interest in Physics.
We run a range of activities for our members to get involved in from fun interactive socials to thought-provoking and awe-inspiring lectures by guest speakers. Aerospace and Rocketry (YAR)
A sub-society of PhysSoc, we are York's first rocketry group, although we also have members involved in both robotics and high-altitude-ballooning. our aim is to provide students with an interest n space technologies and place to learn new skills and take part in competitions both nationally and internationally.
