About Philosophy Society
Philosophy Society aims to foster a deeper relationship between all students and philosophy itself whilst being an entertaining and accessible place to meet new friends and socialise.
We host a wide range of engaging speakers, regularly run Socratic dialogues and debates, and publish the Dialectic philosophy journal; creating as many opportunities as possible for students to talk and develop their critical thinking.
Our socials include an annual toga party, formal dinner, bar nights, coffee meetings and more. Free for members or made very cheap for them.
We also build the bond between students and the Philosophy department for any academic purposes or simply to get to know the professors.
Our committee is excited to show you what we have planned for the next academic year. If you study philosophy or not... If you love philosophy or you're simply curious... be a part of this fun and fulfilling community. Sign up now!
Socratic Dialogues and Debates on most Tuesdays at 5pm during the term. Check our social media for details including speakers and socials.
