About Economics Society
University of York Economics Society provides a wide range of activities to cater to students both academically and socially.
These involve academics from York and other institutions sharing their research, as well as journalists, politicians and economists from across the country, speaking on issues affecting students today.
Speakers provide students opportunities to show where their careers may take them. We will also hold employability panels and skills sessions.
Including club nights, film nights and pub quizzes where students across Economics disciplines and years can meet. We also hold formal events to give students a chance to dress up across the academic year.
We publish a magazine backed by the Department of Economics and Related Studies comprised of students articles about current social, political and employability issues. Click here to read our previous issues!
ECONOMICS FAMILIES SCHEME
