About Catholic Students' Society (CaSSoc)
We are a society whose weekly events revolve around one or more of our core themes: Spiritual, Intellectual and Social. These include things like: guest speakers; group discussions, and charity fund raising.
The purpose of the society is to provide people with the opportunity to learn about the Catholic faith (considering a considerable number of us are converts we must fairly good at this), to grow in the virtue of charity, and also to provide some joy and freindship to all like minded individuals who may be lost in this vain and at times oppressive environment of a secular university campus.
We would love to see you at any of our meetings!
Meeting Times
7:30 pm every Thursday in More House (unless specified otherwise)
Get Involved
Obviously the name of our group makes people think that only Catholics are welcome, this is not true. Everyone is always welcome. Regardless of your personal beliefs you will be welcomed, and we are more than happy to share our faith with those who don't agree with us (We have been commanded to do so afterall!). Please know that: as long as you want to come, there will be a place at CaSSoc for you.
To get involved, just show up at any meeting or event, there will be social media updates as to when and where these will be, though we usually meet at More House at 7:30.
