About Boxing
We are a non-profit student lead club that seeks to teach the sport of boxing. This is done by encouraging students to improve their fitness, learn how to defend themselves, and compete on campus or out!
Our goal as a club is to offer students a way to create connections and friendships while training. We offer all members the opportunity to learn how to box and the various techniques needed to compete for the university.
We also support well-being by involving our members in several charity fights where all donations are proceeded to the mental health charity; YorkMind. We are always seeking to improve our member’s experiences and the quality of our club.
Learning how to Box gives you not only a great workout but also a sense of relief. Whether you are facing stress from Uni, life or other mental roadblocks with boxing we hope this will encourage you to punch through them!
