About African Caribbean Society (York ACS)
The University of York's African and Caribbean Society aims to encourage and support the celebration of the African and Caribbean culture in order to enrich its members socially, culturally and academically. This society also seeks to motivate and inspire; encouraging a welcoming environment in which members and non-members alike can express themselves freely.

Get Involved
This society is open to anyone regardless of ethnicity! Whether you are of African/Caribbean descent looking for a home away from home, or you are neither from African/Caribbean descent looking to learn more about the culture, everyone is welcome to join! Do not hesitate to get involved or attend any of our termly events!
